Recaptcha V2 not displayed after accepting cookies

@soydelia In regards to the thread you mentioned: What I tested was also broken in 6.0.6. It appears that something has changed in recaptcha itself. Recaptcha now has an issue with the placeholder html in the recaptcha container element. The fix consists of removing the html before activating recaptcha.

As I don’t know what your specific issue is, I can’t say if it’s the same issue. Do you have the same error in the console as described on the other thread? If so, it’s most likely the same issue.

@soydelia which plugin do you use for the forms? Forminator? Or another one?

@soydelia thanks for pointing out this issue, without this topic I was unaware of this issue to all my websites.

@rogierlankhorst yes, the GitHub repo fix the captcha issue and the issue is on WordPress comments. I never use any plugin for comments.

Now I need manually update all websites I have to fix this issue with the GitHub repo. It works, I tested and before I had the issue and now that I replaced files in one website, the issue is resolved.

Hope you will include asap this update.

Sorry if I added here but the issue is the same so I think it may be useful talk about the fix works and the issue was visible also to me.

Do you use a plugin for reCaptcha? We’re trying to pinpoint the exact issue. Do you use V2/V3, a checkbox, or invisible?

@peopleinside @soydelia We will be releasing a patch for this on Monday. It seems indeed to be caused by a change in Complianz, not sure why I had the same issue in 6.0.6 in my first tests.

The fix for this has now been merged on github:

@aahulsebos I use Captcha 2 not invisible.
As plugin I use Login Security reCAPTCHA
