  • Hi @paulrogers13,

    Thank you for contacting us.

I have tested it on a demo site and was able to add the V2 checkbox using the latest version of Forminator.

Could you please try rechecking that your keys for V2 checkbox are valid in Forminator > Settings? In case you have any caching plugin installed, make sure to clear all page caching as well.

    Best,
    Jonathan S

Hi Jonathan – yes, keys are correct and the preview is showing correctly – just not on the site. I also cleared the website cache as well. Still not working….

    Hi @paulrogers13

I can see there is a JavaScript error on your website.

Do you use any optmization plugin?

If so, can you try to flush all caches and disable it for a test?

Let us know the result you got.
    Best Regards

I uploaded the Autoptimize plugin and selected the default settings to clean up Javascript. I cleared the cache. Here’s a copy of that page so we can test on this as the other page is being used everyday for the business:

    Hi @paulrogers13

    Thank you for response!

I’ve visited this test page and I still can see JS error, specifically related to jQuery and one of Forminator’s front-end scripts.

It doesn’t seem to be caused by Autoptimize asset optimization directly but is in some way related to specifics of this setup.

Autoptimize asset optimization can by bypassed but that doesn’t change anything and the error is still there. If you – just for testing – completely disable Automptimize, is reCaptcha showing up?

Are you using any other plugins on site that might be implementing reCaptcha or plugins that might be doing additional caching or asset optimization? Are there any options related to any of this (recaptcha, caching or asset optimization) in the theme that you are using?

If yes – could you try disabling them all temporarily and let us know if that changes anything?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Hi Adam – re: Autoptimize, I installed it recently, so, no it didn’t interfere with the reCaptcha since it didn’t work before I installed it either. Regarding the rest of your message, I don’t know ?? I am not a web developer and have just picked up WordPress on my on the past few years so I don’t know how to detect if other plugins or the custom theme is interfering with the reCaptcha. Is there anyway for you to check, easily?

    Thanks again.

    Hi @paulrogers13

    Thank you for response!

It’s difficult to say “out of the box” what could that be then. It would be good to do a full conflict test on site as it could reveal what’s breaking it.

Basically, the test is switching off (temporarily) all the plugins – except Forminator – and switching theme to Twenty Twenty and if the issue is gone, switching back to original theme. If the issue is still gone, then start enabling your plugins back one by one, after each one checking the form.

At some point, after enabling one of the plugins (or earlier, after the original theme is switched back on) the issue should start to happen again and that would meant that this last enabled plugin is causing conflict. Knowing about it we could then “dig deeper” into it to find solution.

    Best regards,
    Adam
