Recaptcha strange text field

    Try deactivating all other plugins.

    Solved. I had the “MailChimp for WordPress” by Ibericode and their Captcha plugin that was set to invisible captcha and had also added a Mailchimp checkbox to CF7.

    This adds invisible captcha to the checkbox, however before I added the [mc4wp_checkbox] i also had added the CF7 [recaptcha] shortcode so both of them wanted to use captcha at the same time.

    Removing [recaptcha] and letting Mailchimp do the invisible captcha solved the problem
