Can anyone point me in the right direction here.

    – I have installed the plugin, selected v2, from google.com.
    – Set up integration with the two keys from my google account.
    – Added [recaptcha] to my form
    – Ensured reCAPTCHA type in the Google console is the v2 Checkbox

However nothing is working and preventing the form from being submitted because the box isn’t checked, but it can’t be checked because it’s not visible.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

For some reason, none of the required plugin javascript files are not being added to the page. Nothing on our end would prevent them from showing up as they do not rely on jQuery or any other libraries outside the plugin. Could you verify that the theme calls wp_head() in the header and wp_footer() in the footer? Another alternative is to try reverting to a default theme and see if the issue resolves itself.

Another option is to install the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting tool. Following their documentation you should be able to revert to a default theme safely and disable the plugin until you find the issue. Just ensure whenever you do “Enable Troubleshooting” that you head to the Plugins page and reactivate Contact Form 7 and this plugin (ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7).

Hopefully, with the above suggestions, you’re able to narrow down your issue to either a conflicting plugin or a conflicting theme.
