reCAPTCHA settings for iThemes Security are invalid

  • Hi!

    iThemes security Recapcha v3 / v2 is going me crazy… I can see on my dashboard this red message

    The reCAPTCHA settings for iThemes Security are invalid. The Site Key may be invalid or unrecognized. Verify that you input the Site Key and Private Key correctly. Bots will not be blocked until the reCAPTCHA settings are set properly.

  • For support about a feature (reCAPTCHA) from the Pro (premium) plugin you should contact iThemes here or log in to your iThemes Member Panel and click the “Support” tab.

    This Support Forum is only providing community support for the free plugin.

    That said, I noticed your site is using the iTSec Pro 5.5.8 release (2018-12-11).
    You seriously need to update the iTSec Pro plugin to the latest release. No guarantees it will solve your issue but it’s always best to run the latest plugin release…

    Will you please log out and then back into the site being sure to click the reCAPTCHA checkbox? This will help to validate the keys.

    The above response is correct as well. If you are a Pro subscriber you can reach out directly to iThemes for support and it is always advised to keep your plugins up to date. The most current version of Security Pro is 6.3.2
