• Hi,

After updating ContactForm 7 to 5.5.6, it began marking form submissions on my website as spam. The problem seems to only occur when forms are submitted in Safari. I installed Flamingo and set up integration with recaptcha. I have read https://contactform7.com/faq-about-recaptcha-v3/#response-token-is-empty and since i’m not a programmer this didn’t make sense. Interestingly, I still see g-recaptcha-response when using the Flamingo plugin to see messages recognized as spam due to empty response token.
can someone help me figure this out? thank you so much

Which version of WordPress and which version of the Contact Form 7 plugin do you use on the site?

@takayukister I’m using the 5.5.6 version of Contact Form 7 and WordPress 5.9.3 version.

    I doubt that.

If it was really true, I think you should check to see if the cache plugin you use (WP Fastest Cache?) is working correctly.

@takayukister I confirm that I’m using these versions. I just updated Contact Form 7 to 5.5.6, and my WordPress version is 5.9.3. I don’t see how to attach screenshots here, otherwise I would.
I have both WP Fastest Cache (version 1.0.0) and WP Fastest Cache Premium (version 1.6.2) installed, they are updated to their latest version. Both appear to be working fine. I think the issue could be with recaptcha integration

I installed Flamingo so I could see the response and found that the plugin thinks the response is empty (even though I can see it in the log).

The Google site key/pw appear to be configured correctly.
I don’t use any caching (that I am aware of)

What other reason for the plugin to think the g-recaptcha-response is empty?
