recaptcha reposition to above subscribe button on embed
-
I would like the recaptcha to appear before the subscribe button, as it is a logical user behaviour.
I tried moving it with click and drag, but it doesnt move like the other inserted fields.
Thank you

I hope you’re doing fine today!
I checked that and you’re right, this field can’t be moved currently and there seems to be no easy way to overcome it.
I asked our developers for advice on this and I’m waiting for their feedback so please “stay tuned” and either I or one of my colleagues will update you here once we get to know more.
Best regards,
AdamHey @wpmudev-support8, thank you, I am doing great! Hope you are too!
Thank you for your feedback, highly appreciated.
Staying tuned, I would love a timeline indication.
Thank you for speedy support!
Hello @elizeneethling
Can you please use the following file as a MU plugin?
You’ll need to upload it in your server in the /wp-content/mu-plugins/ folder (just create the folder if it doesn’t exist already)
https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/b55ec6b724bc0e98806629c338e9185dThank you,
DimitrisI have done as you asked above, and uploaded.
I do not see the change, or where to look.
I cannot drag the current recaptcha to above the submit.
Thank you!
ElizeI also failed to mention, plugin not working at all now – my embed does not show.
I’ve just tested it on my site and it’s working on my end. It does, indeed, break the “preview” so I can’t preview the embed in Hustle but it does show up and work on front-end.
It doesn’t require dragging the field though – it “automatically” moves it right above the “submit” button while in the embed settings the field remains where it was.
however, on your site I now see an error that’s a bit unexpected and shouldn’t be related to this code. In browser console it suggests that one of Google reCaptcha API Urls is responding with “400 Bad Request” error. The code that Dimitris shared with you doesn’t interact with how plugin connects to Google API – it only does manipulation of the rendered content of the age in user’s browser directly.
If you remove that code form site, does the embed start to show up again?
Where there any other changes made in site/embed configuration? Are there any other plugins that are/may be using reCaptcha as well?
Best regards,
AdamHello @elizeneethling
I trust you are doing well!
I’ve tested the mu-plugin shared above and it is working on my test site. Please let me know on what pages the embed opt-in is not showing up?
After visiting your site an embed opt-in is shown on all pages, besides home page.
If you wish to show an opt-in on a home page, please edit the embed, go to the Visibility tab. Check if any of the conditions prevent an opt-in to be shown on a home page.
For example, on this screenshot, an embed is shown everywhere, besides the Home page:

Cheers,
NastiaHi, and thank you for your feedback.
1 – I noticed that you are correct, embed displays on all pages but the homepage. my homepage comes from a theme and is not a page.
2 – i have disabled the plugin that allows me to hide widgets from certain devices, and the recaptcha displays twice in the footer. How would you suggest i move forward with this query?
Uninstall the fix and live with recaptcha position below the subscribe button, or give you access to try to solve?
Hello @elizeneethling
I trust you are doing well!
I’ve visited your site to check this issue but it was unavailable. Please let us know when your site will be accessible so we could have a closer look.
2 – i have disabled the plugin that allows me to hide widgets from certain devices, and the Recaptcha displays twice in the footer.
Please run a test for a conflict on your site.
– Deactivate all plugins, besides Hustle and see if the re-captcha will be showing twice
– If the issue will be resolved, please start activating one plugin at the time, to find which plugin is causing it.Let us know how it went!
Kind regards,
NastiaThank you. I have disabled all plugins – the problem was not resolved.
I am using divi extra categories. I will do some work around that and give feedback.
I have placed our website into maintenance for other reasons, not hustle, but I am still happy to allow you access if you need.

If you are WPMU DEV member, please open a live chat with us, on our site and grant access to your site so we could have a closer look.
The www.remarpro.com forums are dedicated to the free version of the plugin and sharing your site’s credentials in here is against the rules.

I used Divi Extra layout as a homepage.
Once I changed that, the hustle did exactly as promised. ??
Thank you for your help and patience!
