• Not sure what I am doing wrong, I followed all instructions and got my keys and entered them and followed the instructions on how to enter reCaptcha on the form and it still doesn’t show up. I am using my default theme, CF7 version 4.3.1, WordPress version 4.4.1.
    Here is my form:
    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    [recaptcha]

    <p>[submit “Send”]</p>

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks. Try deactivating the js_composer plugin.

I don’t have a js_composer plugin, I use visual composer. Are they the same?

The only thing I know is its directory name is js_composer. Might be same as the visual composer.

Okay, I’ll see if I can find it, if I can’t do you have any other suggestions to try?

I did find the js_composer but it isn’t in the plugin page and looks like you need to know how write code to turn it off, which I don’t know how to do, so I don’t think I can deactivate it. Visual Composer is a separate program that came with the theme I bought.

I don’t understand the situation. How do you know this?

and looks like you need to know how write code to turn it off

What plugins do you see in the Plugins admin page?

I didn’t see js_composer in the plugin page or anywhere on my dashboard so I used FTP to check out the folders to see if I could find it, found it in the wp_content folder. I don’t know enough to mess around in those folders so left them alone.
My plugin page has the following plugins:

Akismet, Audio Player PRO – Addon For Visual Composer, Contact Form 7, HTML5 Video Player with Playlist and Multiple Skins – Addon For Visual Composer, LayerSlider WP, Postman SMTP, Root Relative URLs, Slider Revolution, Social Media Feather, Stats Counter, Wordfence Security, WPBakery Visual Composer, Yoast SEO.

I googled “js_composer” and guess it’s a part of Visual Composer. I recommend deactivating Visual Composer and its add-ons. It’s an infamous CodeCanyon plugin.

    (@fireman4u2)

That’s not going to work. Since I used Visual Composer to build the web site when I deactivated it everything disappeared on the web site. Any other suggestions?

Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to get the reCaptcha working?

I had same problem Switched to default theme but still not showing. I have now installed the plugin: Better WordPress reCAPTCHA which has support for Contact Form 7. All is working well now.
