The recaptcha on our forms is not showing for non-logged in users so forms are not submitting but no errors are showing. This happened before and you said it had something to do with cookies being accepted but I thought it was fixed; it isn’t. With recaptcha v3 there’s no way of knowing what the error is but I changed to v2 can see that the recaptcha is not displaying with no errors in console.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I thought perhaps it was because I had a second form that needed a recaptcha in the footer, but I disabled it there and it is still not showing for some people. This is critical now as we may have missed contacts from people in need.

    I found this online, don’t know if it’s relevant : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73502579/recaptcha-not-showing-up

    Hi @rosbiffer,

We checked on the link you shared and the reCaptcha is appearing on it. It is required for the user to accept cookies to display the reCaptcha. Once user accepts cookies, the reCaptcha loads in couple of seconds.

I have no way of guaranteeing first time visiting will accept cookies or not. Therefore the recaptcha must load in either case. I would have thought that was essential as I’ve never seen it happen anywhere else. How do I fix it?

I have found the solution to this problem – I got the answer from CookieYes support – presumably it would be the same for all cookie plugins:

The issue seems to be related to the blocking of the cookie __cflb in the Functional category, which has the Script URL pattern: “hcaptcha.com”.

Please try again after moving this cookie to the Necessary category.

    Hi @rosbiffer,

Thank you for writing back on this. It looks like the solution CookieYes support provided is for some other captcha service. The URL “hcaptcha.com” isn’t included with Google reCaptcha which is the captcha service RegistrationMagic uses. Could you please ask CookieYes support if they have any specific solution for Google reCaptcha.

I only use reCaptcha, and allowing that cookie has allowed it to work so it’s good enough for me!
