    Hi

I installed reCAPTCHA via the reCAPTCHA plugin, and entered site and private keys.

But when I attempt to add reCAPTCHA in the form settings screen, I keep getting the error message:

To use reCAPTCHA, first you need to install an API key pair. For more details, see reCAPTCHA.

I must be missing something – I assumed that the plugin install / activation added all necessary PHP code.

Is there another step … ?

    Thanks!

    See https://contactform7.com/recaptcha/

You don’t need additional plugins to use reCAPTCHA in Contact Form 7.

Maybe not, but I have entered the keys and Contact Form 7 will not allow me to use reCAPTCHA.

OK, I see now where the confusion is.

Google’s reCAPTCHA has its own key setting screen in WP. It appears that CF& uses its own key setting screen.

I’ve entered the keys in the CF7 screen and now it works!
