reCAPTCHA not functioning

  • We’ve been using reCAPTCHA for some time now. Without any recent updates to our blogging software or to the plugin, it stopped working. When commenters try to register a comment, the comment is sent to the spam folder, if it makes it through at all. Commenters are left with the post they were trying to comment on, and no indication of what happened to their comment.

    On our “submit a post page,” reCAPTCHA returns an error, and users are not allowed to submit a post, to spam or legitimately.

    We’ve tried de-/re-activating as well as deleting and reinstalling. Nothing has worked, and I don’t see any threads already started on this topic.

    Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this?
