Noticed this morning that I have multiple sites that recaptcha stopped working on…the spot where recaptcha whould be displayed is blank, then after a few seconds it seems to timeout and display the following error –

    —————————

Please upgrade to a supported browser to get a reCAPTCHA challenge.

Alternatively if you think you are getting this page in error, please check your internet connection and reload.

Why is this happening to me?

    Please advise

Seems like the issue is now resolved, maybe a google issue.

I’m having the same issue on my site and it’s yet to go away!

I am having this issue on Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 only, my site is fine on MS Edge and Google Chrome.

I checked if JavaScript was disabled in about:config and it’s not and the only add-ons that I am running are AdBlockPlus and Video Download Helper. I disabled AdBlockPlus on my site and reloaded it and it made no difference I still get the same warning message?

    Hello,
    I had the same issue…
It seams that this problem comes if you add this code: add_filter(‘wpcf7_load_js’, ‘__return_false’); in your function.php file of your theme

I added it because CF7 was not working on mobile… but after few checks recaptcha was not working on FireFox… I deleted the added code and now it recaptcha comes back on FireFox…

Now I do not know how to solve the problem to have all things working!
Can you please check if you added this code line and if deleting it solves also your issue?

    Thank you.
    Regards.
    Thanks
