Hi,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having with this.
Please understand that this problem isn’t caused by Shield. You can confirm this by disabling Shield’s Captcha (General Settings => Captcha => remove Site and Secret keys) or disabling plugin completely.
Shield is compatible with LearnPress. If you want to use Shield’s Captcha with LearnPress, please note that this is a Pro feature. This is the list of the WP membership plugins we support with Shield Pro:

The problem you described is likely caused by incompatibility between LearnPress and reCaptcha by BestWebSoft plugin:

This doesn’t mean anything is broken, the problem is just the sharing of data between plugins and how each plugin handles things differently. You can reach out to them and report this with as much detail as you can.
It’s also worth of mentioning that, whenever you can’t access your site as the result of any plugin, you can disable it via FTP. These are the steps:
1) Log into your FTP space for that website
2) Browse to the plugins folder: …./wp-content/plugins
3) Find the folder for the plugin that you need to disable
4) Right click on the plugin folder and select Rename
5) Rename the plugin folder to anything you want. For example, “disabled-pluginname”.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jelena
