You can install plugin Contact Form 7 Control:

It allows you to select the language to use for reCAPTCHA per form.

When plugin is activated, edit your form and you will find a tab Customize where you can set the language code (language code are listed on a link Doc aside of the language field)

reCaptcha should show the message in your language based on your site language. Have you set German as your site language in WordPress settings?

In that case, check this out or just use Contact Form 7 Controls plugin as mentioned above.

@pawell3000 Also, remember, reCaptcha takes the language of your browser, not the language of your site.

It’s true : reCaptcha takes the language of your browser, not the language of your site. In this case the reCaptcha for a browser set in german will display the german version for i’m not a robot text no matter what is the CMS WP language of your website or the content.

And yes Contact Form 7 Controls plugin works to set german version of reCaptcha for your contact form :Install the 7 Controls plugin -after that – Go in Contact Form : choose your form – you’ll have a tab Custom and a field :
