    Hi,

Can you share the shortcode you are currently using?

Do you have a cache plugin installed in your site? If you do can clear the cache and then disable the cache plugin. Once you have done that, carry out a test. If this does not apply to you because you don’t have a cache plugin, can you disable all other plugins except ours, then carry out a test.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

Hi, thanks so much for your quick response.

    Here’s the shortcode I embedded: [sdm_download id=”2904″ fancy=”0″]

I cleared my cache and deactivated all my other plugins, reactivating one at a time. (I didn’t deactivate my Phlox theme, though. Is that a known glitch?)

Even with all other plugins deactivated, the direct link still doesn’t work.

As for not showing the button, Elementor is the culprit.

    Hi,

    The shortcode looks good.

As for not showing the button, Elementor is the culprit.

That is good to know. Now you know what is causing the button not to appear.

    Regards

Sooo … I can’t stop using Elementor, but I’d really like to use this plugin. Do you know of any work-arounds? I don’t mind not using the button but obviously the link needs to work then; any ideas on that?

Direct links cannot do re-captcha. Only enable the captcha feature if you are using our plugin’s shortcode to render the download now button (so it can render the captcha with the download shortcode).

The page where the captcha is going behind the download button is a rendering issue due to other HTML and CSS conflict/error on that page. There is no easy solution for this unfortunately since it is an external HTML and CSS issue on that particular page. That page has HTML errors which is cascading down and causing the captcha and download button rendering to be messed up. Some page builders will mess things up this way and unfortunately I don’t have any good solution for it ??

@mra13 Thanks so much for your response. For future, are there other page builders you’d recommend that are cleaner?

I’ll mark this as resolved, thank you again for your quick responses.

@cora03, I haven’t really used page builders on my sites to be able to comment on this unfortunately. I personally just use the WordPress’s Gutenberg editor. I find the new WP editor to be very nice and smooth (it doesn’t add clutter like some page builders do). So my favorite is the standard WP Gutenberg Editor.
