    Hey fssbob,

The optimization for InnoDB tables is not as efficient as the optimization for MyISAM tables.

So, some people requested an option to disable optimization for InnoDB.

Optimizing InnoDB tables is not dangerous, so it’s up to the user to switch it on or off.

    peace,
    Rolf

I’ve included “Optimize InnoDB tables” on many sites without a problem. But now I’ve run into one where if Optimize InnoDB tables is enabled, the optimization process hangs.

    Thanks.

    Hey fssbob,

No idea why it hangs but just disable the optimization of InnoDB tables in the settings page.

    peace,
    Rolf
