Yes, but I was unable to get them to move. I’ll try it again later.

    Thanks

I have tried to figure out how to drag and drop my slides in order to rearrange them, and I am now convinced that since the description of this product shows no slide rearrangement capability and I can not get anything I have tried to do this, it simply does not exist.

Hi, if you can’t drag your slides inside a slideshow then there is something conflicting with this option. Disable all your plugins except this one and try again to drag the slides. If that does not work then try to test a different theme. One from WordPress like Twenty Fourteen?

    Thank you for this response.

Hi did my solution above help you in any way?

I have not pursued this further as I am only someone who has been asked to work on someone else’s website that uses this slider.

I do not know what level of person I have been set up as (contributor, administrator, etc.) Is it possible if I am not of a certain class of user that I can only add slides and not rearrange them?

I am also not pursuing this further as I am not sure that I will continue as a volunteer with the website on which this is used. So I have set this topic to “resolved.”

Thank you for your reply back and your report. Please mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you

Well, I believe that I have finally discovered the problem. Accessing the website via our Internet Service Provider, I find that WordPress based applications runs unusually slowly.

I just tried one last time to reorganize slides using drag and drop. What I found is that if I drag the slide to its new location and WAIT LONG enough, it will indeed drop into its newly assigned spot.

Just another reason I detest COMCAST.

I am happy to hear you found the problem. If you host server are very slow then I do suggest to speak to them or if your website is important to you then move to a new host. www.remarpro.com have a few host they recommend.

    Kind regards
