    Hello

I am having a recaptcha site owner error on my website, I used repatcha v3 on Contact Form 7 and Wordfence (same keys). So I thought it because there was some conflict. After disable it from Contact Form 7, the problem gone for few days, now it’s back!

For now, I only enabled recaptcha v3 on Wordfence!

Is there a way to activate recaptcha v3 on both? and if not, should I enable it on wordfence or contact form 7? which is more necessary for me?

PS: my website is an e-store using woocommerce and does not require sign up and login for customers. It have a Contact Us form, newsletter email entering field for subscription, and a blog section allowing comments on articles, while planning to activate comments on products soon.

    please help

What error? You said so much, but left out the most important bit.

Error for site owner: Invalid domain for site key

    ?Invalid domain for site key

Let me ask the obvious: have you added the domain of the WordPress site you’re configuring to the correct ReCaptcha V3 site settings in your Google ReCaptcha account?

Please cross-check just to be absolutely certain!

If you’ve indeed added the correct domain to the correct ReCaptcha V3 site settings, please note the statement in the info (i) icon next to “Domains”: ?“Changes to this field may take up to 30 minutes to take effect.”

So you may just have to wait a while for Google to do their thing.

Is there a way to activate recaptcha v3 on both? and if not, should I enable it on wordfence or contact form 7? which is more necessary for me?

My quick test shows both plugins only load the recaptcha script on pages where they display the captcha: Contact Form 7only loads the ReCaptcha script on pages with a CF7 form, and WordFence only on login and registration pages. So the two should not conflict in any way.

In any case, if there should be a conflict at all, you’ll surely see a different error message and NOT “Invalid domain for site key”.

    Good luck!

yes, I added to correct domain

I didn’t change anything, but the error went away now. I don’t know if it just needed time indeed.

    Thank you for your replies
