Really SLOW wordpress theme

  • Hi all,

    I’m having a few issues with my site, it seems to be incredibly slow, i mean, dial up internet was faster than the load speed it takes on my site for each page.

    Anyway, I’m trying to use my site for ecommerce and purchased a suitable theme from envato marketplace, it’s the second theme I’ve had where the site just becomes incredibly slow. There are only a few basic plugins installed and I’ve put next to nothing on there in terms of content.

    If one of you more knowledgeable folks could possibly take a quick peak to see if anything jumps out at you it would be massively appreciated.

  • If you are having a problem with an Envato theme, you would need to go through their support forums or however that particular theme provides support.

    hi,
    1. check your website speed test at pingdom or google page insight. They will tell you problems also give you some suggestions.
    2. get support from theme seller
    3. use cache plugin
