Hello and good day. I have RSSSL installed and configured correctly. I am using AWS Lightsail webserver.

All of the RSSSL checks are ok except for:
“Your Key and Certificate directories are not properly protected.”

I have tried changing the permissions to 644 and 600 for the two files but the lightsail server does not seem to to show the changes.

Cert files seem to be under /etc/letsencrypt/live/domain.tld/fullchain.pem and /etc/letsencrypt/live/doman.tld/privkey.pem

Is there something I am missing?

    Hi,

could you check if there are also a /ssl/keys /ssl/certs directory in your websites root folder? These are the directories Really Simple SSL checks. Changing the permissions on those folders should remove the notice. If it doesn’t contain any certificate files, you can safely dismiss the warning by pressing the X right next to it.
