    Hello,
I’m a little confused about the compliance of your plugin.
First, I cannot install it on a (local) test site. So I have to play around on a production site.
Second, I have to pay for the premium version and contact you before I can test whether or not cookies are saved when displaying a post.
Basically, I would like to have one of these 2 solutions:
    – share icons are displayed on posts and do not use any third party JS and/or cookie as long as they are not clicked
    or
    – share icons are displayed only if users accept social cookies (although sending an email and printing should be set apart from social network on my point of view). I use “GDPR Cookie Compliance” to obtain their consent for various cookie categories. This plugin allows me to add some script in the HEAD, BODY and FOOTER sections if their consent is gained.
The social icons I’m interested in are: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Whatsapp, Email and Print.
I thank you in advance for your answer.
    Best regards

    Thank you for your question.

So I assume you’ve seen this https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/gdpr/, right?

On there we propose a one-link solution which is (currently) only possible in the Premium Plugin. If that solution is applied, no external codes will be loaded, and also no cookies set.

    You’re indeed very responsive.
Yes, I had read your page before.
In the meantime I’ve taken some time to think about buying or not buying your plugin. Unfortunately, I think it’s unfair to buy first and then see whether it’s ok or not.
I think also the plugin is much too aggressive in the admin panel. Before I even had finished setting a few button, I had already seen a lot of “invitations” to buy it. Too many in fact.
Finally, I went to a solution with pure HTML, home made icons (soon css sprites), wordpress shortcodes and hooks. So I’m really sure of what it does and how it does it: no social cookie, no third-party javascript.
Nevertheless thanks for your prompt reply.

    Sure, that’s a solution too!
