Really needs PHP 8.0?

  • Hi, unable to install on an older server with PHP 7.4 I tried uploading a modified zip. Removing the minimum PHP 8 requirement, it can be installed and appears to be working just fine…

    There are still many users on PHP 7.4 and are not aware of any need to upgrade or even how to do that. Please remove or reduce the minimum PHP version requirement so more users can install this plugin ??

    Dear Rolf,

    Thanks for your feedback! I have just released a fix allowing the installation with PHP 7.4 again. I had made version 8 compulsory only due to security reasons, but in the end this is the responsibility of the user. I want to stick closer to the PHP versions supported by WordPress in the future. I hope this helps!
