Really Lost
-
I am trying to install wordpress on my website: finhrrecruitment.co.za
I have done it the same way once before and never had a problem like this before.I have unpacked the wordpress file into my FTP and when I put https://www.finhrrecruitment.co.za/wp-login it sends a request asking me to change wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php which I have done.
Then if i try access the site again i get this error:
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down. Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums. Now I haven’t even gotten the option to open to sign up with a username and password.
My host is useless and keep saying their services and databases are up and running and they have enabled wordpress and php.
So what am I missing here????
