Really High hit counter

Hi, im having this issue where i have more than 1000 hits in posts that are 1 week old. For my site thats a lot, i ussually have 100-200 “hits” in total, so thats a huge increase.
Could it be that bots are causing this? (Google bot, bing bot, search engines bots in general).
