Really great plugin. Well written, well supported, awesome features! Way to go!

The title says it all.
But, one feature in particular that I’m currently VERY excited about is the ability to use the stand-in merge tag “NAME” (as opposed to FNAME).
I like to have very simple opt in forms, with just one field for name, and one field for email.
But I also like to personalize my MailChimp autoresponders and campaign emails with the subscriber’s name. If there is only one field for “name” on the opt-in form, some subscribers will use their first name, and some will use their full name. That causes a problem in MailChimp, because if I use the “FNAME” merge tag on the opt-in form, then I’ll get some subscribers with a full name as their FNAME entry, which looks terrible in a personalized newsletter:
Hi Billy Jean,
…You get the point.
When “NAME” is used in place of “FNAME” in a MC4WP opt-in form, the plugin will attempt to split a full name (two words) into two separate entries and send them as FNAME and LNAME values to MailChimp via the API.
I tested it, and it works! SO COOL! This is both extremely helpful and unique, since even MailChimp does not have a solution for this problem.
Way to go MC4WP! And Thanks!
