    Glad you like it. It has been suggested to me that this should be in the core WordPress. I think something like this should be in there. However, it could be argued that the problem is plugins getting themselves into trouble and not the core WP that is the problem. But then, WP encourages plugins to create massive forms just by its architecture working the way it does, so it does have some responsibility to protect the user’s data.

    I expect that argument will trundle on for a while yet.

    You can’t blame plugins for this, as it has nothing to do with the limit itself. It’s all about not issuing a warning or error notice of some kind when things don’t work the way they’re expected to.

    Most users won’t have a clue where to look and will blame it on… WordPress? “WP is not good for online shops. I just knew it!”
