I am just setting up our first real-time feed (to OnTheMarket), I think I have it all set correctly (but it is hard to know!) When I click to ‘push’ all properties to them (actually there is only one) I get a fatal error and an email is issued to admin.

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

Otherwise the website is still working fine (fortunately).

How can I debug this? I have completed all field mapping, and under Portals it shows: Active as ‘Live’, Name as ‘On The Market’, API URLs as ‘All set’, Certificate as ‘Certificate File: Uploaded, Password: ‘xx-xxx-xx’ [redacted], Active Properties as ‘1’.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues.

Pushing 1 single property shouldn’t be an issue and we’ve not had any other reported issues such as this, and we have this add on installed on a lot of sites.

Out of interest, in the error you posted it says:

“Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    Is anything received there?

    Have you also tried:

    – Enabling WP_DEBUG
    or
    – Checking the server error logs?

Note that we also use cURL to send requests so might be worth checking this is installed/enabled (though I’m pretty sure it is by default).

Do let me know the outcome from the above and we’ll go from there.

Thanks, I think I have it solved, I reviewed the apache error.log and found I did not have php-curl installed. I have installed it and reloaded (apt install php-curl, apache2ctl -k graceful) and now the upload proceeds and I get a response from OTM.

Amazing! Do let me know if I can assist further. I’ll look at adding some checks into the add on to check if cURL is enabled and warn users accordingly to prevent this being an issue in future.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Great, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks for your quick response. I’m looking forward to having Property Hive doing its feed magic!

@propertyhive Steve – sorry to hijack another thread but this is recently active – we’ve been trying to reach you on email and on this forum for 2 months now about Elementor integration not working at all for single post and archive pages.

    Thank you.
