• I had contact form 7 working just perfect for almost a year. But over the sudden it doesn’t work. I detected the problem when customers sent me emails that I never received. I checked the spam or trash folder and nothing. I also changed the email to a different one and nothing. The thing is that after the message it is sent from my website, there is a message that says “it was successfully sent” but in reality I never receive it. Please help.

Thank you for your response. However, it is not doing anything for me. I am using the free version of Contact Form 7 (I do not know if there is a paid version and whether this is the reason I am not longer being able to send emails from my contact form).

I do not have any problem in buying a paid version of this plugin as long as this one works. I have tried changing the emails to Yahoo, Gmail, and many other accounts to see if the email recipient was the issue but it seems to be in the forms itself. Please help.

@vcoronel The plugin’s developer will help you as soon as he can, but as you posted your username and password details to a publicly visible forum indexed and cached by Google, I recommend changing your password IMMEDIATELY.

Thank You. I did that: I changed my password for security purposes. How I will handle my new login information privately here so the issue can be analyzed further?

If the plugin’s developer does need login information, which is highly discouraged, he will provide a way for you to contact him privately.

@vcoronel we don’t need your login information to help you because the cause of this issue is almost apparent.

The thing is that after the message it is sent from my website, there is a message that says “it was successfully sent” but in reality I never receive it.

Showing this message means that the PHP function for sending the mail has certainly completed successfully.

    See FAQ.

If you don’t receive the mail, something happened after the mail left from your mail server; the reason would be 1) spam filter caught it, 2) it went to the wrong destination, or 3) relaying server ate it. Anyhow, my last comment explains how to avoid such troubles.

There is no paid version of Contact Form 7, of course.
