Real Cron Job

    Any known issues with having WP Cron disabled via wp-config and using a Real Cron Job on the server?
    Wanting to set a Real Cron Job as: Twice Per Hour
    Would this hurt Preload or building of cache?

    Hi @shirtguy72,

    You can disable wp-cron in the config, however I’d recommend setting the frequency of real cron 5 minutes at maximum. Background processes (cache preload uses that) and some features such as cleaning up expired cache depend on cron.
