    Hi,

I’m using the plugin “Reusable Text blocks” and the reading time is also showing up when a “text blok” is being used on a post, while the custom post type is not recognized by the list in your plugin.

Thus the reading time appears several times on the same post when I place a reusable text block and that should not happen.

The only way not to make it happen right now is to deactivate the reading time and to place the shortcode, but that’s not very nice, since I already have many posts were I would like to show the reading time.

Thus placing the reading time in all of my post can only being done by adding the shortcode to the php-template-file.

    Any other solution ?

    Kind regards,
    Fred

For now that is the only way to go about it, unfortunately. Since the reusable text blocks are being used on a post, the plugin thinks you are viewing a regular post. So the plugin would need to be updated to figure out if it’s within a content block that is powered by a custom post type, and then check the CPT list after that. It’s something we may consider for a future plugin update, but for now, this is one of the reasons we added the shortcode option in the first place – for circumstances such as this.

Thanks, thought so and done it that way.
