Reading Settings > Posts page does not get saved

    I am trying to set up a separate page where blog posts will be listed, but when I set “Blog” page as Posts page in Settings > Reading Settings > Posts page dropdown, it does not save.

    I set Blog as Post page and click Save, message "Settings saved." appears, but setting for Posts page is reset to -Select- option.

    I have created (currently there’s only one) public post.

    I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Any advice would be appreciated.
