• Hi, I just uploaded the WP Catalogue plugin (love the concept; just what I’m looking for!). I immediately ran into an issue with my reading settings for the site getting stuck. It would only allow 1 post for the blog page settings. I tried saving it for more than that, but it wouldn’t allow it. I followed a suggestion to deactivate the most recent plugin, so i deactivated WP Catalogue, and voila, it allowed me to have multiple posts again.
Any suggestions? is this a bug? I was really excited to start inputting all my info!

Thanks for reporting this… it’s not happening for me on test site, but could be something specific in your settings that’s causing this bug to show itself.

I’m wondering if it has something to do with the Catalogue pagination which uses the same function as the Reading > Blog Posts setting? Can you try activating the catalogue, then have a play around with the number set in your pagination field VS the number of blog posts setting and see how they affect each other?

    That did it! Thanks ??
Now my concern is that I want to have at least 12 products per page, but only 4 posts on the homepage. The plugin seems to be forcing me to have the same for each? Any ideas?

Excellent. This is really helpful because it identifies a bug in the plugin itself. This was reported by someone else but I couldn’t replicate it, so now this shows that it is a legit bug that I need to fix in the plugin and release an update.

For now there is no way you can fix this in your own site… so please sit tight and I will fix it ASAP…. sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime!

Hi Again… just wondering if you would be able to contact me privately about this issue? I can’t replicate it myself so it would be really helpful if I could see the problem on a site.

    Thank you for your help.
