Readers (Bloglovin', GFC, Feedly) taking a long time to pull my RSS feed

I recently switched from Blogger to WordPress. I think I’ve got most things working now. It was a headache to say the least. One problem I am having is the speed at which readers are pulling my RSS feed.

Bloglovin, GFC, Feedly, my RSS reader in Outlook, all take hours to pull the feed. This can’t be right? And for all of them to take ages it must be something I’m doing at my end.

The majority of my readers use Bloglovin’ so this is proving to be an issue at the moment. I post at 7am to ensure it’s readable in the mornings, but it won’t come through till nearer 10am. By that point all my readers are in work. In short, it’s affecting my traffic ??
