    When we put in a shortcode like [shortcode] the readability score going down

    Is it possible to prevent Yoast from breaking when using shortcodes in the content?

    – Using Classic Editor
    – Yoast Version 16.0.1
    – Latest WordPress

    Thanks for reaching out!

    We understand that you are using shortcodes to create content, thereby affecting your readability score. This happens because the page’s content is not accessible to the plugin as it is created outside the functions of the standard WordPress page editor.

    However, this doesn’t mean that Google won’t be able to crawl the page’s content or it will have an adverse effect on your site’s ranking. Google will still be able to read the page’s content, it’s just that our plugin isn’t capable of analyzing it due to the way the content is being created inside the WordPress editor.
