    Hi there,
I’m using the page builder Elementor and I’m not sure if this hinders Yoast SEO from showing me the results of the readability analysis in my text.

I once used a ready-made theme and I remember that, when I clicked on the eye-button in the readability analysis I was showed the passages of my text that I need to optimize.

On the current website I’m using – which was built with Elementor – this functionality doesn’t work as on the page on which Yoast SEO is present (after clickng “edit page”) the text is not present. The text only shows up when clicking “edit page in Elementor”. But here Yoast SEO and the readability analysis are not shown.

How can I get the parts of my text highlighted that I need to optimize?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

I understand that you have some concerns with using the Yoast SEO with your Elementor page builder. Unfortunately, the eye marker feature is only available in the default Visual editor. If you’re using the WordPress native content editor, please make sure that you’re?using the visual editor?instead of using the text or code editor mode to make sure that the Yoast SEO eye marker feature can highlight the specific parts of your content. In some cases, you may need to update the content or refresh the page to be able to activate the eye marker.

Since you are using a page builder which is Elementor, please know that our eye icon feature doesn’t work with Elementor at this moment. Please have a look at this help article. So as a workaround, before you add your content to Elementor, please add the content using the default WordPress editor, check for Yoast plugin advice, adjust your text, and then switch to your page builder and add the content using the page builder.
