    Hi,

    We’re using WordPress as a multisite-installation. I installed wqTranslate and imported the settings from qTranslate. qTranslate previously worked well (we changed, because it hasn’t been updated to support WordPress 3.9 yet).

    When a site administrator logs in and goes to “Pages”, the title and text of the only appear in the default language he set. And title and text are now only “Read only”. It works ok as a network administrator. Have you tested mqTranslate in a multisite environment?

    See screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/Dwog8mH.png

    Although French and English are added as language, only the French title and tab are visible.

  • Yes, this one threw me as well.

    Edit the user account that has the problem and near the bottom you will see a new section called mqtranslate with tickbox(es) for “allow user to edit in this language”. By default it is unticked. Just tick it and save.

    Might be worth including this in a qtranslate>mqtranslate migration FAQ.

    Hi,

    We are aware of this issue and will provide a setting in a future release (maybe next but I cannot promise) to resolve this.

    @dlt95: Thanks, that works.

    @chsxf: It would be great if the permissions for editing posts were checked by default. Currently it’s a bit of a pain. Anyways, thanks for your continued work on the plugin.

    We will release today an update to the plugin which includes a setting to completely disable user-level language protection.
    Furthermore, if enabled but no setting has been provided for a user profile, all languages will be activated by default for this user.

    We will provide a more complete setting page later.

    Hi chsxf, how are you.

    I have a multisite installation site, need to use MQTranslator.
    Does MQTranslator plugin work on a multisite installation or not and which wp version i need to use for it.

    Thanks
