read more tag won't work

    When I insert a read more tag on a post or page, it will not display on the website. Does this theme support read more tags?

    Hi Amandameyer,

    You Need to activate the post excerpt from the customizer->Basic Settings -> Content or Excerpt and choose the excerpt.

    I made changes as you suggested, however I am only able to insert “read more” tags on my posts not my pages. Is this function available for pages? Thank you for your help.

    The Read more tags feature is only for blog posts.

    Good afternoon,
    I would like to remove the “Published on” status from my blog posts. I do not intend to blog regularly and the date makes the posts seem outdated. I tried a plug in but it only removed the date and not the words “Published on” which looked really silly. Please help.
