read more tag twice in blog layout

    Hi all,

    after the update I have the following problem:

    My word press settings are set to show full length entries. For blog and archive pages it’s set to “content” in the customizer of the theme.

    Yet when I add the read-more tag to my entries, the blog page shows it twice and I have no idea how to solve that.
    Can anyone help?

    This affects only newly created entries, not old entries.

    i created a new entry and now it seems to be working fine. no idea why it didn’t work right away. problem solved for now.
