‘Read More’ Tag plugin

  • Hi,
    I’m quite new to wordpress. I’m not sure if there is a setting in the admin panel already to do this, but I just want to be able to control how much of a post I show on my blog homepage, and then have a link that says ‘Read More’ to see the entire article. Is there a particular plug in that anyone recommends? I’d like to be able to show the first paragraph, or perhaps show the first 100 words or something like that. Any help would be appreciated.

  • As you look at the post write (and edit) page, hover your mouse over all those little buttons.

    One of them is what you click to add the <!--more--> break that you’re searching for. Built in!
