When I insert the “read more” tag in between text it seems to create an unwanted margin of space between the paragraphs selected. There is an option to hide the teaser before the “More” tag, but that makes the image disappear within the actual post (but not the blog feed).

Previous versions of WordPress never caused this issue. The read more tag would go unnoticed on the actual blog post.

Do you have an example of this on your blog?

The problem seemed to disappear on its own. I would create a ‘read more’ tag in a separate block between paragraphs, then publish and view page. It would show a gap, but for some reason it doesn’t show up after loading the page from the main site.
