Read More Tag and Title Not Working for Some Posts

I insert read more tag in all of my posts (I always insert it after the image and first paragraph).

The problem is that the link for “read more” is not clickable for some posts and for some it is. I am using Admirable theme, it it is of any help, but I am not using any of its features because I can’t get them to fork – like featured post feature.

I noticed than when “read more” link is not clickable, the title for that same post is not clickable too. You can click the link (or title) as many times as you wish, but nothing happens. You are only taken to another page, with that single post (picture and first paragraph) “read more link” is appearing again, but still not working (title not working too).

For other posts everything works fine (title and read more). That is quite strange because I write them all in the same way, I and can’t possibly think of anything different that I did in some of the posts that are not working.

I am a total newbie, and I tried reading forums on this topic, and I downloaded some plugins which did not help me at all (I do not understand much of html), but also I did not see that anyone else was having this kind of problem.

If someone could be kind enough to explain in plain language what I need to do.
