read more of post?

  • Heya guys Im still new o wordpress and trying to learn the ropes.

    Ive created my theme and it all looks good but i have one final thing i would like to fix. Everytime I write a post the whole post is displayed in the blog but i would like to write a post (no matter how long it is) and for only a part of it to show on the blog and if you wanted to read more you have to click a “read more” link or something.

    How can this be done?
