Read More not working with updates?

    I’m using version WordPress 3.2.1.
    The theme I’m using is Suffusion 3.8.2
    Something happened that caused the “read more” to stop working. I can insert it in the post see it in the html code but it does not show up in the site when published.
    I’ve read in the forum about inserting some code in the html but after trying a few of these I did not succeed with any success.
    Is it the update that reconfigued the read more?

    And the theme is: Theme Twenty Eleven with 11 Widgets
    You are using WordPress 3.2.1.
    The above post is for my other blog which is working fine.

    Any ideas for Twenty Eleven Theme?

    Please help I feel I need to change the theme here to get the Read more working.
