Read more link not inline

    Yes, I have read the codex entry, but I cannot find anything that deals with this.

    My Read more link on the page seems to be wrapped in
    pre tags. For some reason this is pushing my “Read more” link:

    <?php the_content(‘…Read more’); ?>

    Down on another line, in a paragraph or after a line break. I cannot tell as Webdev gives no CSS info on it.

    Is there a way to make this not happen? There is no CSS styling on pre.
