How is it possible to add the ‘read more’ link in the bottom right corner of the excerpt(using free HTML) in ‘Simple Grid content right’ layout? (Grid, One column, Composition: image left – content right, theme default)

I think, this code should be work, but don’t know in which file and which place have I add it:
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>">Read More</a>
