Read More is not getting applied to page

  • I have activated “BlogSixteen” theme to my website.
    And i tried to put read more tag but it is not making any effect to the page.
    my website is “www.surfinet.com”

    Please help me.

    I have written a lengthy contents about three topics and i want to put a read more tag after six lines of each topic so that a brief description can be visible for all topics in one page without scrolling down the long page.

    can you tell me what theme is best for my website as i want to add lengthy notes with images on the pages and want to show this in brief and also a read more tag to see all written contents.
