READ MORE ICON MISSING IN CLASSIC EDITOR

  • We use the classic editor for posts as our users are clueless about the block editor.
    It seems that the “Read More” icon does not appear in the editor icons.

    All the other icons show as expected, only the Read More icon is missing.

    Since this behavior exists on two different sites maybe it’s been removed.

    If so, what’s the solution to adding a readmore break point when a post needs to have a user-designated “Read More” link?

  • This is a new build 5.9 WP with ‘Classic Editor’ plugin installed – nothing else – read More is there

    I would suggest checking for conflicts – the health check and troubleshooting plugin may be useful to turn off other plugins / set default theme without impacting other user.
