“read more” has no link. It’s only text.

The default function, eg.

[rpwe limit="10" thumb="true" excerpt="true" readmore="true" readmore_text="Read More »"]

and active link

Ok thanks. New problem; half the posts now have “Read more Read More ?” and have half “Read more ?”

Why is this happening? As soon as I turn on excerpt the first “Read More” appears on the posts that have it doubled but they are just plain text, no link. Then I turn on the “read more” and it doubles on some posts (one link only) and then only has the correct “Read More” link on the other half.

I’ve cleared the server caches several times and tried several browsers. This happens every time.

I don’t know, check the post and excerpt field.

This is what I have:

[rpwe limit=”100″ thumb=”true” excerpt=”true” orderby=”date” readmore=”true” length=”75″ thumb_height=”150″ thumb_width=”150″]

Any other ideas on this? It’s not acceptable for “read more” to not be a link unless it says “read more read more”
