Read more for #_LOCATIONNOTES or #_EVENTNOTES

Hi everyone, I tried in every possible way to find a solution to the need to shorten the texts of #_LOCATIONNOTES and #_EVENTNOTES, too long in events and locations.
In fact, what I would like would be to have a text with a limited number of characters and a “read more” at the bottom which, if clicked, would extend the complete text on the same page, without taking me to a different page.
The short text would certainly be highly appreciated by users who do not intend to read everything while keeping the text extended on the same page would be very important for SEO.
On my site I have more than 2000 locations and almost 40,000 events published and therefore it would be essential for me to have a “one for all” solution that does not include modifying events and locations one by one.
I searched a lot online but couldn’t find solutions that I was able to apply to Events Manager.
Could someone please help me?
