read more buttons below posts link to main page

within the “link_excerpt_more” function the function get_the_permalink() and get_the_title() are called. At the point of calling the post object is set to the frontpage not the bloc post.
Therefore the link and the screenreader text is set wrongly.

I am able to replicate this on your website, however, this doesn’t happen on my end with Neve theme and blog posts displayed on the homepage – read more button redirects to the exact post to which it’s attached.

Could you please provide more details about how it’s built on your end? I mean have you used any demo template that comes with Neve?

I have setup a beta site for you to see it.
The site is just running WP-Core and Neve.

If you place the “latest post” block somewhere and display the excerpt the read more link is broken.

Reason is that the filter inside neve overwriting the WP core […] is implicitly using the ID. But in case of a block the ID is still set to the page mit the post inside the block.

I have the same issue that Skippa had 2 months ago. The read more button keeps linking to the homepage even though in WordPress editor it is linked to the blog post.

Hello, I too am experiencing this issue. The ‘Read More’ links are not linking to the posts. Instead they just contain the link of the current page. I updated Neve to the latest version, 2.7.2 but the read more links are still broken. So it looks like the issue is NOT resolved.
